I'm fan of the Saint James Walk and did most of the mentioned walking routes myself. 
The postman8 area has its own date stamp for stamping the pilgrim pass.

Bikeroutes
There's a new marked bikeroute between Visp and Zermatt crossing Stalden.

The bikeroute No. 1  (Andermatt - Genève) passes Visp (7 km from Stalden) (Link)

The panorama Bike Route No. 88 (Link) passes also near Stalden (at 1 km), make a stop in Stalden and visit the postman8 - Area!

In the Valais, there are many marked bike and mountainbike routes. 
Mountainbikes and bikes can be rented in many locations.

Baths
There are thermal baths in the Valais.
Brigerbad (Link) ca. 20 min by car, or 20min by postbus
Leukerbad (Link) ca. 1 h by car
Saillon (Link) ca. 1 h by car

Public baths also in Visp (Mühleye) and Brig (Geschina).

You can also bath in the lakes:
Lac de Géronde in Sierre (40 min)
Les Iles in Sion (ca. 45 min)
Schalisee near Täsch (25 min)

There are also numerous mountainlakes everywhere in Valais.
In a day trip, you can also reach the lake of Geneva and the big lakes in northern Italy.

Glacier Express
Stalden and the postman8 - Area are directly on the Glacier Express Route. The "slowest express train" of the world can be photograped vrom here several times in a day.
